Missing air conditioning left rooms uncomfortably warm!!! A disappointing lack of cleanliness in common areas and misleading room images really detracted from the overall experience!!! The hotel's layout could seriously confuse older guests with unexpected steps!!!

The location on a theatre street was fantastic for exploring. I loved the spacious rooms and the warm reception we received. Plus, the staff helped us find some local spots for dinner that our whole family enjoyed.

My wife says that managing the room climate was tricky. a little upgrade here would make our stay more comfortable.

Charming hotel, friendly staff, enjoyed the welcoming glass of fizz upon arrival and the excellent location that made exploring the city a breeze, all while being just 20 km from Schiphol.

The hotel flaunts a cool, retro lobby vibe with wallpaper featuring old-timey images, which sets an intriguing tone upon arrival. The superior rooms come equipped with Nespresso machines for a nice caffeine fix and charming decor that adds to the cozy atmosphere.

Unfortunately, the absence of air conditioning turned my stay uncomfortable at times, particularly with the need to open the windows which let in some noise from the street outside. I encountered a minor inconvenience with the shower, as it took a while to adjust the temperature, which might be bothersome for those who prefer immediate access to warm water.

i really loved staying at v nesplein! it's just a 2-minute walk from dam square, and the location is fantastic for exploring the area. the comfort double room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast menu was great — you order what you like! special shoutout to maarhje, her smile brightened our mornings!

I had an incredible stay with a wonderful ambiance, just a short walk from Dam Square. The comfort double room was spacious and thoughtfully decorated, making my trip feel special. The staff were genuinely warm and attentive, especially during breakfast where I enjoyed a variety of delicious options. The only downside was the slightly high price for late check-out.

Immaculate cleanliness throughout the property.

The renovation works at the restaurant were not communicated, causing great inconvenience. There was no option for meals on-site, and we were disturbed by noise from drilling every morning. I expected more transparency about these disruptions prior to our arrival.

However, the lack of air conditioning was a big drawback, especially with the noise from the nearby church bells at night. This really affected my sleep quality. The lobby had an interesting design, but it felt a bit dark and uninviting. Overall, it had potential but could improve in clarity regarding noise expectations and amenities provided.
